WebinarKit supports charging for webinar access and even general products!
Paid webinars let you charge attendees to register for any webinar in your account.
But you can even create checkout pages and charge people for other products right within our platform. For example, you can charge a one-time price to access a digital course. Or you can set up a subscription / membership for ongoing services like coaching or agency services.
Below we'll walk you through connecting your payment account, setting up your webinar to collect payments, customizing your checkout page, and tracking your sales.
Step 1: Connect your payment account
Before you can sell access to a webinar, you'll need to connect a payment account through our payment partner, Whop.
- Go to your Settings page.
- Follow the prompt to create your connected Whop account.
Once your account is connected, you're ready to start charging for webinars.
Step 2: Set your webinar to paid OR create a product in your account
After your payment account is set up, any webinar in your account can be turned into a paid webinar. Open the webinar you want to charge for and set up the basics:
- Price – how much you want to charge for registration.
- Currency – the currency attendees will be charged in.
That's all it takes to start charging for a webinar.
If you're selling a general product like access to a course or an ongoing subscription for coaching / agency services, you'll want to create a new Product in the Products section of your account. On the Products dashboard, simply click "New Product" to get started. Then fill in the basic product details, add your pricing options (we support one-time pricing, subscriptions / memberships, trials, and more!), and set your success page (where customers will be redirected after a successful checkout).
Step 3: Customize your checkout page
You can tailor the checkout page that registrants see before completing their purchase. Available options include:
- Colors – background color, accent color, and pay button color.
- Border style – the border style around the checkout card.
- Labels – customize the text labels, which is useful for supporting different languages.
- Images – add your brand, product, and trust badge photos.
- Summary section – set the title and add bullet points describing what attendees are getting. (Use {{date}} in the bullet points to display the registration date the potential customer will see)
Adjust these to match your branding and give registrants confidence before they pay.
