If you've ever recorded a video of yourself running a webinar before or going through any sort of slide deck presentation, you know it can be a super time consuming and difficult process.

But now thanks to our powerful AI features, you can generate a video of an AI avatar doing your presentation for you! We'll even show you how to create an AI clone of yourself so you can save tons of time. Keep reading to see just how easy it is!

 

Step 1

Navigate to the AI Creator Suite in your account and click the "Slide Decks" link. From there, open a slide deck you have previously created. If you haven't yet created a slide deck, you can check out our tutorial on that here: https://help.webinarkit.com/help/using-our-ai-features-to-create-a-high-converting-slide-deck

 

Step 2

Inside the slide deck editor, click the "Create with AI" button, then select "Create video from slide deck".

 

This will open a popup with various options.

You can select the type of video you want to generate, either "Narrated video with avatar" or "Narrated video" (audio only, the avatar will not be shown).

You can also select the actual avatar that you want to use for your video generation. This will affect both the appearance and voice used in the video generation. We have a variety of default avatar options to choose from.

In addition, if you have set up your AI avatar clone (we'll cover how to create your AI clone below), you'll be able to select your clone from this list.

You'll also be able to select the location your avatar appears in on the screen.

 

Once you have specified the settings you want, we recommend clicking the "Preview" button to see and hear what your AI avatar sounds like, before doing the actual video generation. While previewing the AI avatar presenting, the editor area will automatically start playing through your slide deck, with your AI avatar narrating the presentation.

 

Step 3

By default, your AI avatar will just read the contents of the text content shown on each slide. But, you can optionally choose the exact text that your AI avatar reads for EACH slide.

To customize a slide's narration text, click the ellipsis dropdown button next to that slide's thumbnail in the side pane, and select "Edit narration text" from the dropdown. This will bring up a popup where you can manually specify the EXACT text you want your AI avatar to read for that particular slide.

 

Step 4

Once you've specified your video generation details and any custom text you want read for your various slides, we recommend doing one final preview. If everything looks good, open up the "Create video from slide deck" popup again, and click the "Generate video" button. And just like that, your AI video should start generating!

Please keep in mind that generating your video may take sometime (typically between 15 minutes to 1 hours, depending on how big your slide deck is). Once your video generation is complete, you will find it in the "Presentations" section of the AI Creator Suite.

 

Creating an AI avatar clone of yourself

In addition to using our default selection of AI avatars, you can actually create an AI avatar clone of yourself for use in generating your videos. This can be big time savings for creating your webinar presentations or sales videos, because you no longer need to manually spend time doing the video recording yourself.

We've integrated with HeyGen to leverage their AI avatar cloning features. The general setup procedure goes like this:

1) Create a HeyGen account.

2) Create an interactive avatar inside your HeyGen. Creating an interactive avatar involves recording a short video of yourself speaking and submitting that video to HeyGen so that they can create your AI clone. 3) Once your interactive avatar is created and approved in your HeyGen account, you'll to integrate your HeyGen account with your WebinarKit account. To do this, get your HeyGen API key from the settings section of your HeyGen account and paste it into the HeyGen API key field in your WebinarKit account's settings.

 

Once your HeyGen account is integrated, when you return to the "Create video from slide deck" popup in the slide deck builder, you'll now see your custom avatar in the list of AI avatars. This lets you generate AI videos using your very own AI avatar clone!
